Must have for DSMs

If you own a DSM and are going to work on it yourself there are certain tools you need to have if not you are going to play hell finding the problem or fixing the problem. Some of these aren't cheap but they are worth it. So here is a quick list for you:

1. Tool Box or Bag, it is pointless to tools and leave them laying around to get stolen-lost-or broken.
2. Metric socket set 8mm to 20mm. 3/8" and 1/4" drive and extensions.
3. Metric open/closed wrench set 8mm-20mm standard - shorty lengths.
4. Haynes or Chilton manual. This is a must for any work that you are going to do. If you want to get the shop manual then even better.
5. ODBII code reader. You can rent them but if you can get afford one get it.
5. Vacuum Gauge. You would be surprised at all the problems that a vacuum gauge can tell you about and warn you about.
6. A Multimeter. I suggest a Fluke 77 or 87, with a multimeter you are half-askin the work you do, and it will help with troubleshooting as much as a vacuum gauge.
7. Jack and Jack stands. Unless your Paris Hilton skinny you are not fitting under our cars. A set of good ramps is also a good idea.
8. A set of metric nut drivers.
9. A set of straight and phillips screw drivers.
10. A set of torx and allen wrenchs.
11. A set of "Security" torx and allen tips. ($15 at harbor frieght or similiar store)
12. Pry bar.
13. A soft faced mallet and a ballpin hammer.
14. Wire pliers. The pliers that cut-strip and crimp.
15. A pair of dykes(no comments just giggle to yourself).
16. An eletrical kit that has all the crimps, connectors and stuff.
17. An assorment of fuses of all sizes, and styles.
18. A 12" or bigger C-clamp
19. A set of vise grips. 4"-12"
20. A set of channel locks. 4"-12"
21. A pair of pliers.
22. A crescent wrench(try not to use it as it can strip the heads on nuts and bolts very easily.
23. A pulley puller.
24. Hose pliers.

With the tools mentioned above you will be able to do damn near anything to your car.

What a minute we both forgot the pack of smokes for the smokers cuz they are gonna "need" them.So since we both forgot something does that mean both of have to get banned?
